Friday Playlist

Tonight i'm going out for some drinks with an old college bud - excitied! And when I saw a few drinks I guarantee we'll be in club by 12 and chippy by 3!
Tomorrow i'm taking a trip back to Southampton (my uni town) to see some of my favourites - think it will be a messy one!

Mac.
So for months now i've been after a new jacket. All my coats are big fat winter ones and I needed a mac! My mac hunt has gone on for ages now. I've ordered, sent back, tried on what feels like millions of macs and they've all been either too long, too short, had weird buttons, strange detailing, funny colour etc etc.....until now.
I ordered this Lipsy mac from Very (when I was ordering my Fearne Cotton dress, more on that later) and I love it. Normally I wouldn't go for something from Lipsy- i've never been a massive fan of their clothes but this mac is perfect.
It's actually a little more of a camel colour than it is here, but it's amazing! I would take a picture myself but my camera is still busted (hopefully getting a new one this week). So happy with my new mac!
However, i'm not so happy with my Fearne Cotton dress. The other day I blogged about the dress I bought from Fearne Cotton's Very range, which arrived today. It's a weird clingy material, which always worries me, but tried it on anyway and it wasn't clingy at all. It just kind of hung there, it was really odd. I can't tell whether it's too big for me or only suits skinny girls but it didn't look right at ALL. Return.

Fearne Cotton's Collection
Since the new year I've been being really good with my money, trying not to buy lots of new clothes and just re-wear what I already have, which is a lot!
The first thing that i've bought this year is a dress from Fearne Cotton's collection for Very. I'm in love with most of the pieces, but this dress is so uh-mazing that I had to buy it - hopefully it will arrive tomorrow! :)
It's a beaute isn't it? I'm thinking that it will make a great day dress and teamed with some bright heels, will make a great going out look. Stay tuned this week to see what it ends up looking like! Here's some of the other gems I love from Fearne's collection:

Cupcakes
So today I spent a couple hours making cupcakes. I haven't baked anything in ages and I used to love it sooo much, so with a quiet weekend I thought I'd make some!
I found a recipe for some Lemon cupcakes so decided to try those. Though when I went shopping for ingredients they didn't have any yellow food colouring so I have Pink, Lemon flavoured cupcakes.

They tasted uh-mazing. Especially after I added some sprinkles.....all cakes need sprinkles! If you want to try them then you can find the recipe here. I just took out the poppyseeds! Enjoy.
