So....my tickets arrived yesterday for The Pierces/Mark Foster gig that I'm going to next month in Brighton.
I completely forgot that I was going to be honest, so it was a nice surprise to find them when I got home. Anyway, getting excited has made me have both on shuffle on my iPod today and I thought i'd share some of their stuff!

Coat Love

So it's officially autumn (my favourite season - weird I know) and so I bought a new winter coat as last year's is now far too massive for me (hooray). I got this little beaute from Very. It's part of the Diana Vickers range and it's soooo good. It's belted and oversized, long and comes in a great camel colour.

Stationery Whore

I don't know what it is about stationery but i've always loved it. Maybe it has something to do with my previous life of selling books and stationery to students....

Anyways, I was always that irritating kid at school that had a new pencil case every term and every pen and pencil under the sun. Even now i'm a notebook hoarder. I have so many knocking about.

So you can imagine my excitement when I came across Knock Knock the other day. I WANT....no NEED, everything.

Friday Playlist

Ok so I know i've completely neglected my blog in the last couple of months. Where i've been blogging and tweeting at work I just had a bit too much internet time and needed to put my laptop down for a bit.....but i'm back with a Friday playlist.

Diana Vickers For Very

I discovered this this afternoon when I was at work, looking for tweeting content for the day. I swear my job sounds more cryptic everytime I describe it. Anyways, I kinda fell in love with this range but then at the same time was completely unimpressed.

Diana Vickers has always been a bit quirky, but never outrageous or anything like that. Quirky and cute, in the pop way I guess. It's not a surprise that she's done a range for Very. Like Fearne Cotton, she's a bit quirky and people love that.

Although it may be a little overpriced for what it is I think the prints and styles are ridiculously cute. Hopefully the quality would be good. The other pieces are just a bit uninspiring I guess. They include some wide leg jeans, a grey t-shirt and yellow corset top. I guess I just wonder why I would pay £18 quid for a grey t-shirt just because Diana Vickers is associated with it. Surely no one likes her that much?

I've been so lacking in posts recently! I've been decorating and waiting for my new Photoshop to arrive, both crappy excuses I know!

Happy Friday everyone! This weekend I'm going to my friend Rob's wedding. I'm very excited. He and his wife to be, Ali have been together since day one at university (5 years ago) and they are getting married tomorrow. Also very excited as i'll be seeing lots of uni pals who I haven't seen for a while. So....normally my friday playlist would consist of songs i'll be listening to this weekend, but as I'm likely to be hearing YMCA, My Heart Will Go On and other such crap I have done another type of playlist today.

I've fallen in love with everything peach this season. It's such a cute, vibrant, spring-like colour! From coral to peachy/pink all shades are beautiful! Here's a pick of some of my highstreey faves at the moment!

Mac.

So for months now i've been after a new jacket. All my coats are big fat winter ones and I needed a mac! My mac hunt has gone on for ages now. I've ordered, sent back, tried on what feels like millions of macs and they've all been either too long, too short, had weird buttons, strange detailing, funny colour etc etc.....until now.

I ordered this Lipsy mac from Very (when I was ordering my Fearne Cotton dress, more on that later) and I love it. Normally I wouldn't go for something from Lipsy- i've never been a massive fan of their clothes but this mac is perfect.

It's actually a little more of a camel colour than it is here, but it's amazing! I would take a picture myself but my camera is still busted (hopefully getting a new one this week). So happy with my new mac!

However, i'm not so happy with my Fearne Cotton dress. The other day I blogged about the dress I bought from Fearne Cotton's Very range, which arrived today. It's a weird clingy material, which always worries me, but tried it on anyway and it wasn't clingy at all. It just kind of hung there, it was really odd. I can't tell whether it's too big for me or only suits skinny girls but it didn't look right at ALL. Return.

Since the new year I've been being really good with my money, trying not to buy lots of new clothes and just re-wear what I already have, which is a lot!

The first thing that i've bought this year is a dress from Fearne Cotton's collection for Very. I'm in love with most of the pieces, but this dress is so uh-mazing that I had to buy it - hopefully it will arrive tomorrow! :)
